Fiona has been in the field of esthetics since 2006! She moved to Austin from Chicago in 2010 and opened Sassy Miss Waxy in January 2011. The name Sassy Miss Waxy was a nickname from her old boo, in case you were wondering 😉 She adores this city and its magical people, and has loved growing and evolving alongside them for 16 years! She loves to keep Austin weird and quirky by upholding the creative energy and putting that into the space. You may find her cruising on her scooter, gardening, ecstatic dancing or performing alongside her burlesque clown troupe, Fou Fou Ha.

Megan has 6 years waxing and sugaring experience. She loves being trusted with a fairly vulnerable uncomfortable process where people leave feeling clean and smooth in their skin. She respects the cycles of hair growth and how it mirrors, or is, actually, part of these natural monthly patterns of clearing and growth. Getting hair removed can be a really cathartic experience as well as a sensory/aesthetic desire. Sassy is a bit of a special space where people are not only releasing hair but experiences and feelings. She loves to talk about astrology, travel, feelings, nostalgia, cool sunsets, art, love triangles, diy projects, and really just loves listening to everyone’s stories whatever they are! Her playlists are wild, give her a rec lol!

Lucianne has been on the journey of being a sugaring specialist since September of 2020. As a graduate of the Ann Web Skincare Institute, she is not new to caring for the body. Her history as working as a nurse has served her in finding ways to care for the self and others as a whole.  Her goal is to help you show up in your body in the way that serves you best! Helping you feel and care for yourself with intention, while providing detail and attention to all of your hairy needs. She finds joy in the small details that enhance life and recognizing the synchronicities. Lucianne is dedicated to treating all beings with respect and love, and learning as much as she can from those around her.
